Thailand's Giant Snakehead Eldorado.
After over 25 years of fishing for Giant Snakehead fishing in Thailand, from the north to the south we have now found what we believe is the most consistent year round fishing for XL size Giant Snakehead (Channa micropeltes). The area is in Trat province 290 km or approximate 3 hours by car from Bangkok. We fish 6 reservoirs and a couple of channels here and the action can be awsome, the biggest Snakehead caught in one of the channels here was 17kg, 5 kg over the present IGFA world record! If you are a Snakehead lure or fly fishing enthusiast this should be the first destination you fish in Thailand.
